Heritage Park Historical Village

The Heritage Park Historical Village is located in Calgary, Alberta Canada is a historical park located on some 127 acres of parkland situated on the banks of the Glenmore Reservoir, which is along the cities southwestern edge. This is one of Canada's most visited largest living history museums offering a number of exhibits. One of the features of the park is how it demonstrates the look of the 19th and early 20th century in terms of appearances.
Other features include numerous buildings were relocated to the park to be placed on display and some are recreations of the actual buildings. These buildings are furnished and decorated with authentic artifacts. Their staff wears historic costumes; there are horse drawn vehicles and antique automobiles. Shuttle service is available by the Calgary Transit regularly from the Heritage C Train station.
The Heritage Park Historical is divided into four sections reflecting different periods of time in Western Canadian history which include the Hudson's Bay Company Fur Trading Fort, the Pre-Railway Settlement Village, the Railway Prairie Town, and the Heritage Town Square. The park offers unique excursion rides including a Day Out with Thomas the tank engine.
Be sure to order your Train Engineers Hat in advance and have your child wear it at the event. While many people can purchase these at the venue it will be at an inflated price. Most parents break down and spend the money but if you enjoy saving money consider these great Train Engineer Hats in Blue or Pink, you can’t beat the price.
